The History of This Special Prayer
This prayer is said to date back to the year 50 AD. Around 1520 AD, it was sent by the Pope at the time to the Holy Roman Emperor Charles V as he went into battle.
Afterwards, it was reportedly lost. I received a copy and painstakingly translated it into German and into modern language. I was asked to distribute it on www.engelchanneling.de.

Holy Joseph, whose protection is so great, so strong, and so swift before the throne of God, I place all my interests and desires in you.
Oh Holy Joseph, assist me through your mighty intercession and obtain for me, from your divine Son, all spiritual blessings through Jesus Christ, our Lord.
Since you use your heavenly power for me, I offer you, loving father, all my love and honor as thanks.
Oh Holy Joseph, I never tire of contemplating you and Jesus and sleeping in your arms. I dare not approach while He (Jesus) rests near your heart.
Embrace Him in my name and kiss His beautiful head in my name. Ask Him to return the kiss when I draw my dying breath.
You, Saint Joseph, patron of departing souls, pray for us. AMEN.
