The Last Hour and the Antichrist: Biblical Prophecies and the Signs of the End Times – Analysis 1 John 2:18 & Rev
1 John 2:18: "Children, it is the last hour! And as you have heard that the antichrist is coming, so now many antichrists have come; from this we know that it is the last hour."
◆ Note: A whole series of antichrists are coming, or rather those who are inspired by him. There have been many in history, e.g., Hitler. But when the last one comes, who is most strongly inspired by Satan, then it is the end times.
"Let no one deceive you in any way; for that day will not come unless the rebellion comes first and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction. He is the adversary who exalts himself above every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, declaring himself to be God."
◆ Note: Someone who has so much power and money that the last thing that attracts him is to play God—to be God (in a figurative sense). The temple of God is not a church, but the world! The earth that God created is God's temple just as man is!
"And I saw one of its heads as if it had been mortally wounded, and its deadly wound was healed. And the whole earth marveled as they followed the beast, and they worshiped the dragon (Satan) because he had given his authority to the beast, and they worshiped the beast, saying, 'Who is like the beast, and who can fight against it?'"
◆ Note: The last antichrist will therefore impress people by appearing to take away the power of man's greatest enemy, death. He spreads his lies, blasphemes, and he has great power.
"The coming of the lawless one is by the activity of Satan with all power and false signs and wonders, and with all wicked deception for those who are perishing, because they refused to love the truth and so be saved."
◆ Note: They hope for salvation through him because they do not want to believe the truth that everything is a lie. They no longer trust in the truth and they no longer search for it. For if they did, they would be saved; instead, they prefer to let themselves be blinded. "And the beast was given a mouth uttering haughty and blasphemous words, and it was allowed to exercise authority for forty-two months. It opened its mouth to utter blasphemies against God, blaspheming his name and his dwelling, that is, those who dwell in heaven."
◆ Note: He is not interested in those who have already died because of him, and he mocks them as well as God because he feels like a god. "Also it was allowed to make war on the saints and to conquer them. And authority was given it over every tribe and people and language and nation."
◆ Note: He manages through the power of Satan to have power over all the peoples of the world. And all who dwell on earth will worship it, everyone whose name has not been written before the foundation of the world in the book of life of the Lamb who was slain. "If anyone has an ear, let him hear!"
◆ Note: He will have people judged by people who are just as inspired by Satan as he is. Whoever does not follow him or speak according to his blasphemy will experience punishment. "If anyone is to be taken as a captive, to captivity he goes; if anyone is to be slain with the sword, with the sword must he be slain. Here is a call for the endurance and faith of the saints!"
Now it becomes even more precise:
Revelation 6 1 "Now I watched when the Lamb opened one of the seven seals, and I heard one of the four living creatures say with a voice like thunder, 'Come!'
◆ Note: Bibles were originally written in Latin. There, the word for crown is Corona. 3 "When he opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature say, 'Come!' 4 And out came another horse, bright red. Its rider was permitted to take peace from the earth, so that people should slay one another, and he was given a great sword."
◆ Note: Many will fall away and will betray one another and hate one another.
"And many false prophets will arise and lead many astray."
◆ Note: Prophets are not always prophets as we know them from back then. In our time, one could, for example, evaluate Mr. Drosten as a "prophet." And because this becomes excessive, the love of many will grow cold. Many people will prefer to renounce their own opinion and their faith through actions rather than suffer, die, or be cast out. They will denounce their own family, relatives, and friends and hand them over to their persecutors. This is what the Bible predicted.
Jesus said in John 8:44: "You are of your father the devil, and your will is to do your father's desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks out of his own character, for he is a liar and the father of lies. 45 But because I tell the truth, you do not believe me."
◆ Note: Jesus said these people have the devil as their father/companion and they act according to the desires of Satan. However, he has been a murderer from the beginning and does not stand for the truth, and the truth is not in him. When he lies, he does so only to achieve his goals, and he is the father of lies. And because Jesus says this and Satan lies so well, many prefer to believe the liar rather than him, Jesus.
5 "When he opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say, 'Come!' And I looked, and behold, a black horse! And its rider had a pair of scales in his hand. 6 And I heard what seemed to be a voice in the midst of the four living creatures, saying, 'A quart of wheat for a denarius
◆ Note: This means that people can no longer get food, but oil and wine remain in abundance. When is there no more food or it is overpriced? When people no longer earn money and the financial situation tips over. They become even more dependent.
7 "When he opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature say, 'Come!'
8 And I looked, and behold, a pale horse! And its rider's name was Death, and Hades followed him. And they were given authority over a fourth of the earth, to kill with sword and with famine and with pestilence and by wild beasts of the earth.
9 When he opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the word of God an

16 calling to the mountains and rocks, 'Fall on us and hide us from the face of him who is seated on the throne, and from t
17 for the great day of their wrath has come, and who can stand?'"
◆ Note: Then something happens that makes the earth shake—God's wrath over Satan and all who followed him.
Rev 13:11 "Then I saw another beast rising out of the earth. It had two horns like a lamb and it spoke like a dragon.
Rev 13:12 It exercises all the authority of the first beast in its presence, and makes the earth and its inhabitants worship
Rev 13:13 It performs great signs, even making fire come down from heaven to earth in front of pe
Rev 13:14 and by the signs that it is allowed to work in the presence of the beast it deceives those who dwell on earth, telling them to make an image for the beast that was wounded by the sword and yet lived.
Rev 13:15 And it was allowed to give breath to the image of the beast, so that the image of the beast might even speak an
Rev 13:16 Also it causes all, both small and great, both rich and poor, both free and slave, to be marked on the right
Rev 13:17 so that no one can buy or sell unless he has the mark, that is, the name of the beast
